Our LOBE experience

Our class had a visit to the LOBE Spatial Sound Studio.

A huge thank you goes to our ever lovely practicum student Stephanie for organizing the field trip and to Alex Penny who took the time to host us, share his craft and for mixing the incredible track that you can hear here. Our students, literally, stepped up to the mike and with their beautiful voices. Being immersed in the sound and tactile sensation that came from all directions was pretty incredible. When you hear our song, from one or two speakers, imagine the sculpted sound and beat coming from all around you.
