It was such a treat to have the entire Street2Peak team together for more Gros Morne explorations. This, our last full day in Newfoundland, had us hitting the road to various points around the sizable Bonne Bay. We first stopped at a viewpoint overlooking Norris Point, Bonne Bay, the community of Woody Point across the water and the visually obvious Tablelands, where earth’s mantle comes to the surface. We drove further to do the tourist trail into one of the gorges of the Tablelands. Very cool place. After our hike we visited the Gros Morne Discovery Centre then Woody Point, a great community that would have benefited with more time to explore. The swimmers of the group found fun at the harbour while others walked the windy streets of Woody Point visiting shops and buying treats.
